ATTENDING GRACE
Is your 9:00am service the same as your 10:30am service?Yes. Both services are led by a vocal team and band. The sermon is the same for both services.
How long is a typical service?
A typical service at Grace Bible church is approximately an hour in length.
I’ve never been to church before, what should I expect?
Someone you do not know will greet you! Don’t let this make you uncomfortable. It is normal. You will be asked to stand during some songs. You will probably hear songs you have never heard before. You will be asked to fill out a Connection Card. It would be great if you did, but if you don’t…it’s okay. You will hear a 25-35 minute talk that ends with a prayer. Many current attenders have recently been in your shoes. Each week people attend for their first time. You will not be alone.
How do I become a partner (member) of Grace Bible Church?
It starts by attending a Pizza with the Pastors lunch. The lunches are held every other month throughout the year. If this interests you, please contact the church office for more information.

CHILDCARE AND FAMILY NEEDS
Are Grace’s childcare volunteers background checked?
Absolutely! All childcare volunteers are required to have a state background check before volunteering. Our Children’s Ministry Coordinator takes the time to get to know each volunteer personally; therefore, volunteers are placed with the age group that is most appropriate for their skill set and personality.
How do I check my child into childcare? Use the Grace Kid’s Check In lane and entrance at the east entrance (back of the church) to get started. Our Host Team will be ready to help you as you walk in the door. At the Children’s Ministry desk you will be asked to provide some basic information (child’s name, parent’s name, age and allergy information, for example) and receive matching identification stickers: one that identifies your child and one that identifies you as their parent/guardian.
How will my special needs child be taken care of?
Yes, but please call the church office (330-882-4416, Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-4:00pm Friday 9-12pm) and speak with Grace Kids’ Children Ministry Director prior to coming to Grace so that arrangements for your child’s unique needs may be discussed. Unfortunately, we do not have a program developed for children with special needs, but we are often able to accommodate their needs.
How will I be notified if my child needs me while at Grace Bible Church?Sunday morning volunteers are trained to handle most situations that may arise, but while checking your child in, you can arrange for child notification by using the text message paging system. If your child needs you, you will be notified. You can share your cell phone # with our trained volunteers and someone will text you if your child needs you.
I have a preschooler, what if they cry?
Entrance into preschool care can be difficult for the first few visits, but rest assured GBC’s volunteers will do their best to comfort your child helping them(and you) to feel safe and secure. Let our volunteers know when you would like to be notified if your child is crying. You will be texted.
Are the Nursery and Children's rooms safe?
Yes. Each area has age appropriate toys, safety guards, and trained volunteers to meet the needs of children. Electrical outlets are covered, toys are properly cleaned, and safety latches on cupboards. We always have a minimum of two adults supervising children in children’s areas.

DOCTRINE AND THEOLOGY
What denomination is Grace Bible Church?
GBC is a non-denominational church. That means that we are not confined to a particular religious denomination, such as Orthodoxy, Anglicanism or Roman Catholicism. GBC does not have a diocese or other ruling authority over our church’s activities. Our doctrine is defined by the Holy Bible. Please read our Statement of Faith.
Does Grace have baptism services?
Yes. Throughout the year, Grace Bible Church conducts Baptisms where those who have elected to be baptized, can be. GBC does not baptize babies or children too young to understand the meaning of baptism, which we believe – according to the Bible – is being immersed in water following a born-again conversion in Christ. It is not uncommon for individuals who were baptized as infants to be baptized again as adults after receiving God’s grace offered through Jesus Christ.
What will my child learn at Grace Bible Church?
Your 2 and 3 year old child will learn three basic truths at Grace: God made me, God loves me and God is with me. These truths are taught through Bible lessons, songs, and crafts. Your preschool child and elementary child will discover who God is, their place in His story of redemption, and how to follow Him. Each week your child will be encouraged to engage in fun, creative activities as well as times of worship.
